The Law Firm was established in 1994 by Hon. Kanyi Kimondo and Mr. Kanyi Gachoka as the Founding partners. Hon. Kanyi Kimondo later retired from the firm and became a Puisne Judge in the Judiciary. The firm admitted Ms. Irene Wanjiru Mburu as a partner on 1st January 2013, Mr. Davidson Mwangi Githinji on 1st February 2018, and Mr. Atanas Kariuki Maina on 1st February 2020.
1994
Establishment
The Law Firm was established in 1994 by Hon. Kanyi Kimondo and Mr. Kanyi Gachoka as the Founding partners. Hon. Kanyi Kimondo later retired from the firm and became a Puisne Judge in the Judiciary.

Partners
The firm admitted Ms. Irene Wanjiru Mburu as a partner on 1st January 2013, Mr. Davidson Mwangi Githinji on 1st February 2018, and Mr. Atanas Kariuki Maina on 1st February 2020.
2021
Expansion
April 2021, the firm opened two branch offices—one at 4th Floor, BP Plaza, Umoja Estate Road, Off Fidel Odinga Road Opposite Nyali Cinemax, Mombasa and another at 1st Floor, Viashla Premier Business Center, Kamaki’s along the Eastern Bypass—to better serve its clients.
2022
Presence
In January 2022, the firm purchased its current offices located at CMS Africa House, 11th Floor, Chania Avenue Nairobi. This move has significantly improved service delivery to clients and brought the firm closer to the Central Land Registry, Nairobi Courts, and Tribunals.
