Kimondo Gachoka

Irene graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) Degree from the University of Nairobi and was admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya on the 14th day of February 2008.

She is experienced in Commercial Litigation and Arbitration in various sectors including Banking and Financial services, Insolvency, Tax Disputes, Construction disputes, Defamation Proceedings, Employment and Labor-related disputes, disputes arising from Public procurement and Real estate Development Projects. She has extensive experience in Constitutional and Administrative Law.

Irene has represented Clients in Insolvency Disputes valued in excess of Kenya Shillings One Billion and has also been involved in disputes that settled the law on appointment of Administrators under Instruments that pre-date the Insolvency Act, 2015.

She has successfully prosecuted and defended various cases and is well regarded by her clients and Colleagues in the profession. Irene is the Head of the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
